In other words, street style gives you a chance to explore all types of fashions and cross boundaries in the swankiest way- to have fun, be free.
This, my last street style look for Midwest Fashion Week and my favorite thus far. Dress over slacks and the job is done. A more exciting way to switch up your layering habits is doing just that- throwing a dress over a nice fitted crop pant and you’ll get a combination of clean lines in a slouchy, comfy sort of way.
A little secret and my key to amping any outfit from ordinary to extraordinary is this:
Cue pear fringe clutch (here), sparkly heels (here) and Pat McGrath [glitter lips]!
Let’s just say the lust 004 lip kit made my lips a magical metaphysical masterpiece. WOAH.

It’s been an absolute pleasure as contributing writer for Midwest Fashion Week! Even more so excited for Saturday, October 22nd, where you’ll see Generation Bliss fashions on the runway! Don’t forget to buy your tickets HERE! A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Lynn Sage Cancer Foundation. It’s Fashion for a Cause and lots of FUN!
A very special thanks to Allison Cooling of Quiet Lion Creations, Lisa Gunderson of LMG Chicago and Berny Martin of Catou!
thank you, thank you, thank you!
