A special thanks to one of my dearest friends, Michaela. Granting me the opportunity to showcase her gorgeous vintage Alaia and Leger dresses has to be one of my most treasured moments. The quality, texture, and detail of each individual dress is simply unfathomable. Works of art such as these makes one truly realize the importance and beauty of design. The simplicity of all seven pieces genuinely bestows the elegance and significance upon each garment.

Couldn’t help but think back to the movie Clueless when Cher, mugged at gunpoint, protests about lying down in the parking lot by exclaiming, “This is an Alaia!” I now totally understand her cry- one would never dream about the possibility of having their Alaia even slightly abused.
